The company has touted the feature to enhance the gaming performance of smartphones in real time. However, the company has as of now only announced that the feature is coming to its Realme 1, Realme U1, and Realme 2 Pro smartphones. There is no word about the Realme 2 and Realme C1 handsets. Answering a user query on YouTube, Sheth said, “HyperBoost will be made available for Realme 1, [Realme] U1, and [Realme] 2 Pro with ColorOS 6 update. HyperBoost will be made available for Realme 1, [Realme] U1, and [Realme] 2 Pro with ColorOS 6 update.” It is worth mentioning that the Realme 3 Pro smartphone, that was launched in India last week, has the HyperBoost 2.0 feature. The feature is touted to bring TouchBoost to the smartphone, which is claimed to improve the touch response time of the Realme 3 Pro by up to 16.2%. The feature also brings the FrameBoost, which is claimed to enhance the frame rate by up to 38%. The company has also mentioned that when playing PUBG Mobile, the HyperBoost 2.0 feature will improve the response time of the device by 21.6%. It is worth noticing that this is not the first time that Realme has announced that a new feature will be coming to its existing smartphones. Last month, the company had announced that it will be rolling out its Nightscape mode to its other devices, which was initially only available on the Realme 3 handset.
However, it is also worth pointing out that Realme has not revealed anything about the date of ColorOS 6’s release. Earlier this month, the company did say that the Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 update has been delayed for all its existing smartphones and it will only be available in June. To recall, Realme 3 Pro runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie and sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, the handset comes with up to 6GB RAM and Adreno 616 GPU. The smartphone up to 128GB of internal storage and has added a dual rear camera setup with 16MP and 5MP sensors.
