With the Galaxy M series, Samsung plans to take on the likes of Xiaomi that are currently dominating the budget segment and it will be seen launching a number of smartphones from the range this year. Here’s a look at the expected price and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M30 smartphone:

According to a report in IANS that quotes industry sources, Samsung Galaxy M30 will be priced at Rs 15,000 in India. To recall, the base model of Samsung Galaxy M20 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage costs Rs 10,990 in India and the high-end variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage comes with a price tag of Rs 12,990. The younger sibling that was launched on the same day, Samsung Galaxy M10, is available in 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant and 3GB RAM/32GB storage model that is priced at Rs 7,990 and Rs 8,990 respectively.

Coming to the specifications, Samsung Galaxy M30 will reportedly come with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080×2220 pixels) display and will be powered by an Exynos 7904 processor. The device will come with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and is said to sport a triple rear camera setup on its back panel that will comprise of a 13MP primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, a 5MP secondary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP third sensor with an f/2.2 lens. For selfies and video calls, there is said to be a 16MP front-facing snapper that comes with an f/2.0 sensor. Reports have suggested that the upcoming smartphone will be available in Black and Blue colours and Samsung has already confirmed the Blue-coloured variant of the device. The dimensions of Samsung Galaxy M30 are tipped to be 159×75.1×8.4mm, while its weight is said to be 175 grams.
